The Porsche 964 Speedster is based on the Porsche 964 Carrera 2 platform. There are far fewer 911-964 Speedsters than the 911-1989 model, with production reportedly only about 936 units, less than half the number as the 1989 one. While the 1989 Speedster was primarily an aesthetic package, the 964 version sought a happy medium between the regular Carrera 2 and the hardcore Carrera RS. Thanks to a removable windshield and an interior stripped of all finesse, it fit the role of a driver's car quite well.

The Speedster came standard with only the narrow body (the model never got a full wide body option like the previous generation), with the exception of about 15 units ordered with a wide body in Turbo look, built by the Porsche Exclusive team. Our Speedster does contain the WTL conversion borrowed from the Turbo. This was professionally carried out by coachbuilder Gemballa, who is responsible for several highly sought-after Porsche versions.

The 964 Speedster inherits many elements from the lightweight interior of the Carrera RS, including the phenomenal sports bucket seats. The interior of our Speedster is in absolute top condition.

The 3.6l engine from the Carrera 2 is good for 250 hp. The engine is also in very good condition.
