Each auction includes comment sections that allow all users to ask questions, provide more information or ask for additional info to be provided by the sellers.
As an interested buyer, we recommend asking as many questions as possible prior to the closing of the auction. Please always be respectful when writing down a comment. Administrators have the option to mute/ban someone in coarse language use.

Sellers have the opportunity to interact with interested potential buyers to increase the chances of selling their vehicle. PassionForClassics has no role in the interaction between users, potential buyers, and sellers, except for removing non-constructive or abusive comments and, in the worst case, removing a user from the platform.

Potential buyers have the opportunity to ask the seller to visit the vehicle in the auction. By pressing the “Plan a visit” link, you will have direct communication with the seller to organize the visit and/or set up a test drive.

Bidding

Bids can only be performed by Premium users. In order to become a Premium user, go to this page to complete the registration process.
Only after receiving the email: “You have completed the registration. You will now be able to sell and/or buy a vehicle on PassionForClassics.” you will be able to bid. Do allow the duration of max 24H for this registration process.

When you have made a successful bid, the amount of the commission will be reserved on the credit card you entered during the registration process, with a limit of 1000EUR. This amount is immediately released to all bidders who have not won the auction.

Caution: important to check the credit limit on your credit card prior to bidding. You can ask your bank to increase this limit to allow the credit hold.

The winning bidder will receive an email confirming the lot won and will be asked to pay the commission. Once the commission is settled, the credit hold is released and he will receive the seller's details to settle the payment and reception of the vehicle.

We strongly recommend all bidders carefully review all information provided by the seller, to ensure you are satisfied with the vehicle. Read more about your right of withdrawal here.
