The Evolution 2 was produced from March 1988 to June 1988 in an edition of 500 units. The engine was modified with a higher compression ratio than the standard 194 hp version, improved air intake by increasing the throttle from 46 to 48 mm, lighter flywheel, new engine management and is recognizable by the 3-colored stripes. Adjustments were also made to reduce the weight by placing thinner glass on the rear side windows and rear window in 3mm thick glass. The boot lid also received a slimming mark. Aerodynamic adjustments are clearly visible through the lower front spoiler and an additional spoiler on the trunk. The front fog lights were replaced with air intakes to cool the brakes. The special edition was available in three exterior colors (Misano red, Macao blue and Nogaro silver). For the interior there was only one option, gray fabric. The car's production number is always prominently displayed on the dashboard.

This EVO 2 was new from the production line on 18/05/1988. The car is registered in Belgium from 2003. At that time the car had 140 273 km, see carpass in the photos of the documentation.

The interior is in its original condition, there are no abnormal signs of damage. Even the original radio is also present.

The engine is good for 220 HP, it starts smoothly and makes no abnormal noises, the power is also still noticeable. The engine code of the EVO 2 engine is: 23 4S 1 The cylinder capacity also still remains at 2302CC. (Fun fact, only the Sport Evolution had a 2.5L engine that delivers 238HP) The dogleg gearbox is the same as every European M3 E30, it shifts smoothly and shows no flaws.
